This trident, originally gifted to the sea god by the Cyclopes (ancient blacksmiths), was also used in the creation of the helmet and thunderbolts. The legendary weapon is said to be made from gold and brass. It was also gifted to him by one-eyed gigantics, Titans prisoners. In exchange for freeing the captive ancient beings, the one-eyed giants gave him his trident and other weapons to use against the Titans. The great Cronus was captured and the Titans were bound by the trident.
His jealousy
Poseidon, despite being a powerful god was not without his fair share of jealousy. He was known for being irritable. He was only patient when he was shaming or punishing others. He was also prone to forgetting people and things. This was usually done to amuse him. This led to a number of fatherless children. However, this did not deter him from vengeance.
His relationship with Phaiakians
Poseidon is one the most well-known Greek gods. He is best known for his love of the sea. He is also known for his wandering eye and his lustful appetite. Demeter the goddess of agriculture tried to hide herself from Poseidon at one point by pretending to be a mare amongst King Onkios' horses. Poseidon saw through her disguise, and became a large stallion and forced his way on her.
