Judaism, a monotheistic religion, believes in a single God who speaks through his prophets. In fact, the prophet Moses led the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt, wandering the desert for 40 years.
It is a complex concept with a long history. One of the earliest examples is Buddhism and Middle East. The Middle East was home to many polytheistic religions, which worshipped multiple gods. However, monotheism emerged and continued to evolve, building on earlier religious traditions.
