The god is often associated in some way with violence and war. He is the god who causes bloodshed, violence, indiscriminate murder, and destruction of human life.

Ares was the war God of ancient Greece. He was the god of war. While Ares was believed to be the god and protector of war, the Greeks believed Ares could also assist individuals in their personal struggles.
